CREATE Medicines announced that it had received approval to initiate a Phase 1/2 trial of CRT-402 for autoimmune diseases (Ref)
CREATE Medicines announced that it had received Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) approval in Australia to begin its Phase 1/2 trial of CRT-402(a CD19-targeted in vivo CAR-T therapy) for the treatment of autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis (SSc), and idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM)).
The therapy was designed to enable deep B cell depletion and immune reset while offering the potential advantages of repeat dosing and an off-the-shelf administration paradigm.
In preclinical studies CRT-402 demonstrated deep and durable B cell depletion in nonhuman primates.
Pfizer announced topline Phase 3 results for LITFULO in Patients with Nonsegmental Vitiligo (Ref)
Pfizer announced positive topline results from two Phase 3 studies evaluating LITFULO™ (ritlecitinib; JAK3 and TEC family kinase inhibitor) in in adults and adolescents (≥12 years) with non-segmental vitiligo (NSV).
Both TRANQUILLO/ NCT05583526 and TRANQUILLO 2/NCT06072183 met their co-primary endpoints, with the 50 mg and 100 mg once-daily doses delivering significant, clinically meaningful improvements over placebo.
Across both studies, significantly more patients treated with LITFULO achieved at F-VASI75 and T-VASI50 at Week 52 compared with placebo.
The safety profile in NSV was consistent with the established safety profile of ritlecitinib in alopecia areata, with no new safety signals observed.
