Ultomiris received US FDA accelerated approval for primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy (Ref)
AstraZeneca’s Ultomiris (ravulizumab; C5 complement inhibitor) received US FDA accelerated approval to reduce proteinuria in adults with primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) at risk of disease progression. The FDA granted the approval after a Priority Review, based on prespecified interim analysis of the Ph3, I CAN/ NCT06291376 trial in which ravulizumab demonstrated 43.4% reduction in proteinuria vs placebo at 34.
