Roche’s sefaxersen significantly reduced proteinuria in IgA nephropathy (Ref)

Roche reported positive prespecified interim results from Ph3 IMAgINATION study of sefaxersen (ASO targeting complement factor B) in adults with primary IgA nephropathy (IgAN).

• The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in proteinuria reduction vs placebo at week 37 measured by 24-hour UPCR.

• The study will continue to assess kidney function over two years measured by eGFR at week 105.
