Nipocalimab demonstrated a durable hemoglobin response and rapid onset of effect in a Phase 2/3 study in wAIHA (Ref)
Johnson & Johnson presented results from the Phase 2/3, ENERGY/ NCT04119050 study which showing that IMAAVY® (nipocalimab-aahu; FcRn) produced a statistically significant durable hemoglobin (Hgb) response with rapid onset of effect in patients with warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA) .
The trial demonstrated that approximately three times as many patients achieved a durable Hgb levels versus placebo by 24 weeks.
Overall, patients treated with IMAAVY showed a mean Hgb improvement of at least 1 g/dL as early as Week 1.
The results were scheduled to be presented at EHA 2026.
Climb Bio announced initial Phase 1b data for budoprutug in ITP at EHA Congress 2026 (Ref)
Climb Bio announced initial data from the ongoing Phase 1b portion of its Phase 1b/2a study which evaluated budoprutug (an anti-CD19 mAb) in adult patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).
The initial Phase 1b data demonstrated an encouraging safety and tolerability profile, robust B-cell depletion, and meaningful platelet responses in heavily pretreated patients.
The initial data were presented at the European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress 2026.
Enrollment was ongoing in the high dose cohort, with additional data anticipated by year-end 2026.
